The 2008 Goodwood Festival of Speed is rammed with interesting cars – old and new. There are more than 350 vehicles entered at this year’s festival and we’ve picked the highlights to help guide you to the most interesting metal. Are we sure? Is the McLaren MP4-12C really going to be at Dunsfold going round the track in the hands of Jeremy Clarkson and combating the Ferrari 458 Italia this week? Well, we’re as sure as we can be.
VISITORS to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in June will be able to get up close and personal with two racy concept cars from Honda. The Japanese firm is using the popular event to showcase its forthcoming Civic Type R hot hatch and second-generation NSX supercar ahead of a 2015 launch programme. As well as getting up close with the new concepts, visitors will get the chance to race them – with the Honda stand turned into a miniature race track for budding drivers to compete with special-edition remote control models.
